Magma Firestop® products can be applied on a wide variety of materials. Magma started once with an, at those days, innovative FR coating for fire protection of Thatched roof properties. However the Thatched roof business is not the core business of Magma anymore, the product is still worldwide marketed.

During the years, Magma specialised in the protection of wood and wood based products. The wood protection delivery program is expanding rapidly since Magma started to develop speciality Fire Retardant coatings.

Magma does manufacture also a range products for fabrics, carpets and other decoration materials. The product X-Mas Safe® was especially developed for protection of Christmas trees.                                                                  

Magma supplies further the Magma Firestop® FRA range of Fire Retardant Additives for treatment of materials during the manufacturing process. In close co-operation with customers the optimal addition levels and relevant process conditions are tested, often resulting in a tailor made product satisfying the particular needs of the industries served.

Many requests for appropriate, quality coatings to finish fire retardant impregnated timber, turned the scale to develop our own topcoating. Guarantees were always a problem because of the lack of experience but since we are able to supply our own topcoatings, this problem has been solved.
